Question 1

What I saw

Only what the worker observed directly.

Marcus was home at 2:40 on a school day. Mail was stacked unopened on the counter. The lights were off in the back half of the house and the caregiver used a flashlight to show me his room. Marcus had a dark mark about two inches long on his left forearm. He said he got it playing basketball.

What I heard, and from whom

Reported to the worker by someone else.

The caregiver said she has called the school twice about the absences and nobody called her back. She said her hours got cut in July and she has been paying the light bill in pieces since then.
